$2000 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to attend an accredited two or four year college in Fall 2014. Must have involvement in Okinawan cultural activities. Essay: 1. What does it mean to be Okinawan or Okinawan-at-Heart? Elaborate on two Okinawan values and how these values have impacted your life. 2. Why do I deserve this scholarship? (Include personal background, goals and aspirations) Each essay should be a minimum of 1 page and maximum of 2 pages, double spaced in 12 point font. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2014.
